Robin Girnt - CBT Therapist for Children and Adult
Robin is a compassionate CBT psychotherapist for children and adults.
He provides evidence-based online therapy treatments for adults, children and young people from the age of 8yo.
Following a BPS-accredited BSc (Hons) Psychology degree, he recently completed his Master’s in Psychological Therapies at the University of Edinburgh where he completed his qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
His psychotherapeutic approach builds on years of diverse clinical work in primary and tertiary sectors with adults across the life span, as well as research into personal interactions and adverse childhood experiences.
His client-centred approach focuses on a collaborative therapeutic process to foster a better understanding of the self and build coping strategies and resilience. This combines evidence-based treatments with clients’ individual experiences and strengths to work towards practical short- and long-term goals.
Robin’s work is rooted in CBT, and his therapeutic style also implements other modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), to better suit peoples’ individual needs, values and goals.
Robin is particularly passionate about supporting individuals from neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, and intercultural backgrounds and welcomes clients of all ages.
Following his professional qualification, he is currently working towards his accreditation with the BABCP.
Robin offers psychotherapy in both English and German for individuals, parents, and families. He provides tailored therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing a range of difficulties, including:
